But rather than finding a spurious or questionable addition to the canon, the believer may use these questions as added reason to give 2 Peter his or her full attention. If 2 Peter contains ideas somewhat outside the norm of other New Testament writings, its study is all the more important to avoid the norm of the Christian life.
